Sweet little baby

Hi Janja here. Welcome to the blog.
For today’s post, I made two newborn baby cards.

- CottageCutz dies: Bear On Cloud and Moon, Stitched Sewing Notions (buttons)
- card blank: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" (10,8 x 14 cm), folded
- white cardstock: 3 x 5 1/2" (7,6 x 14 cm)
- patterned papers
- white and brown cardstock
- embossing folder - dots
- glue, double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive foam pads

Cut out both small bears and put all the pieces together with a glue.

Trim two white cardstock. Use the embossed dots folder to add some texture.

Then trim the selected patterned paper to the size of the card bases. Attach backgrounds to the front of the cards.

Cut two buttons out of patterned paper. Stamp the sentiment on the white strips.

Now we have everything ready to complete the cards.

We have a new Gardening release of dies in the online store. All new designs are discounted for a limited time!

Thank you for stopping by.

For a newborn baby and a birthday

Hi, Janja here.
In the Mother's Day release we find beautiful dies which are also useful for other occasions.
I prepared a baby shaker card and a birthday card.

I used:
- CottageCutz dies: Mama Kangaroo & Joey, Mama Raccoon & Baby, Stitched Numbers, Balloons Variety, Sweet Love Borders, Spring Grass, Stitched Sewing Notions (button), Circle Set
- white card base: 4.25 x 3.35" (10,7 x 13,9 cm), folded
- patterned paper: 4 x 5.2" (10 x 13,2 cm)
- fun foam: 3.74 x 5" (9,5 x 12,6 cm)
- transparent foil
- white and colored cardstock
- a white pen
- Distress ink pads: Worn Lipstick, Vintage Photo, Hickory Smoke
- double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive pads, glue

Create A2 card base from a white cardstock. Cut a smaller layer from a patterned paper, and another one from a fun foam. Prepare a piece of transparent foil.
Round the corners at the bottom. With the die cut the circle opening in a patterned paper, and in a fun foam. Stamp an inscription on a white card base.

Now die cut and assemble the Mama Kangaroo & Joey. This die is a perfect thing to help us welcome all those adorable little newborns.
Also, prepare two white borders and a button. White and pink hearts will be used to fill the shaker area.

Attach Mama Kangaroo with self-adhesive pads.

For a birthday card, prepare a white card base. Cut patterned paper smaller than a card base. Stamp "Happy Birthday from all of us" in black on a patterned paper. Cut the grass from a green cardstock.

Now cut and assemble the central motif, number four and balloons. Cut off the second baby twice.
Add dashes on balloons with a white pen.
All my cutouts are made from colored cardstock that have the edges shadowed with Distress inks.

And we're at the end.

Have a nice day.

Jars of jam

Hi, Janja here!

Nothing can be compared to homemade jams. In the month of May, when the first strawberries are mature, I begin to prepare our jams.
I like how my home smells when I cook fruit. I like the taste and beautiful colors.

I used cute stitched jars on today's first card and filled them with strawberry jam.

Supplies:
- Cottagecutz dies: Stitched Jars, Kitchen Chef (Chef hat), Stitched Sewing Notions (hand made label), Springtime Strawberries, Nested Stitched Scallop Oval Set, Oval Set, Stitched Wide Oval Frame Set
- white card base: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm, folded
- patterned paper: 5 x 5" (12,7 x 12,7 cm)
- white cardstock
- Memento inks: Lady Bug, Rhubarb Stalk, Dandelion, Peart Tart, Bamboo Leaves
- white pen
- glue, double-sided adhesive tape, self-adhesive pads

Cut out all pieces, and color them with ink pads. I used the stamp for sentiment. For oval cutouts use the largest dies from the three basic oval sets.
When we have everything ready, we begin with gluing.

A card with a glass of homemade jam can also be a nice gift.

Nothing is better than one afternoon in a company of good friends and a cup of coffee.

Supplies:
- white card base: 4.25 x 53.5" (10,7 x 13,9 cm, folded
- kraft cardstock: 3.74 x 5" (9,5 x 12,6 cm)
- watercolor paper
- Distress refill Brushed Courduroy
- Distress inks: Antique Linen, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
- watercolor brush

Cut out a rectangle from watercolor paper, and add drops with a brush on it. It does not matter if a few drops are spilled. This is the purpose of this background.
In the middle we add some nice phrase about coffee and friends.
Cut out the tray and cups and color them.

Completed card.

I would like to remind you that the new "Llamas & Botanical" release is available for 25% less.

Thank you for coming over. Have a nice day.
