CottageCutz Victorian Gift Box

Greetings friends and papercrafters.  Today's it's Carol with a  Cottage Cutz creation that is a gift box made with the beautiful dies from the "Victorian Release".  The dies from this release have gorgeous scrolls and sweeping lines.  They make an elegant addition to any creation.
The box was created with the We R Memory Keepers Gift Box Punch Board.  All the corners are embellished with the Butterfly Flourish Vine.  Tim Holtz distress ink Broken China and Stormy skies were used to color these vines.
On two of the sides the Fancy Victorian Butterfly accents the gift box.  The butterflies were painted with glue and sprinkled with sparkling glitter.
The Fancy Victorian Frame die was used under the cabbage rose along with the sweet Butterfly die from the Petite's collection.  The Bella Leafy Branch die is under the rose.
You can see how you can make your gift boxes shine as the star of the gift giving by dressing the boxes up with the gorgeous CottageCutz dies from The Scrapping Cottage.  Thank you so much for viewing this project today.  Until next time,  Happy Crafting.  See You Soon.

Roses and Ornate Fence

Hi, all! Vladka is here today!
Spring is so beautiful with all blossoms, it gives romantic hint and I like the view on different gardens and houses with all these flowers and greenery. To illustrate this on my card a little bit, I used new Ornate Fence and Victorian Rose Vine dies.
Fence was cut out from black cardstock and roses were colored with Copics this time. Sentiment is modified a little bit - I used Friends die cut instead of this part of the stamp. Background is stamped with text stamp and distressed with Walnut stain and Vintage Photo Distress Inks and with touch of white tempera.
Have a great weekend!

Whimsical Greetings

Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday to all!
Today's card was designed for the Scrapping Cottage & Splitcoastampers Way to use it challenge. We were to use BUTTERFLIES! LOVE THIS!

So for my card today I used The Scrapping Cottage Vintage Butterfly Flourish, and airbrushed it using copic markers in these colors-
R39,100, YR09,C5,YR16. Next I added the green rhinestones to the body of my butterfly.
The frame I used is CottageCutz Fancy Victorian Frame. I dusted the frame using Spiced Marmalade. and then stamped my sentiment using Butterfly Wishes from the Greeting Farm Stamps.
The Design paper is oldie but goodie....hehehe its Basicgreys Ambrosia, love it! It has BUTTERFLIES on it as well :) Perfect for todays challenge.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these CottageCutz Victorian Corners! They are so beautiful, and love the look of them. I did cut them using black card stock for today :)

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my card today!
Enjoy your day!

CottageCutz Victorian Bird

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with a card made using the CottageCutz Victorian Release. Yes I am LOVING this Release, and have been busy crafting away with these BEAUTIFUL dies, I just LOVE the CottageCutz dies, not only are they super fun to work with, but easy to use as well.

My card today measures 6" x 6" and I used some bright colors for this one. I always have a hard time using the bright PINK, even though I love the color pink, its been a challenge for me. However I love the way this one turned out, as I used the bright PINK for highlights instead of using it as the main focal point.

CottageCutz dies used are - CottageCutz Victorian Bird, CottageCutz Victorian Floral, and CottageCutz Fancy Floral Frame I used airbrushing on the Bird and the Floral piece. love the look it gives to airbrush with the copics, not only that but its super easy to do as well. Inside the frame I stamped a SU! birthday sentiment.

Design paper is scraps that I had, and wanted to use up. I am trying to use up some of my scrap pieces that I have had in a basket. This is a nice challenge to get rid of scraps....Gotta love that!

Gracie Bunny has been colored with copic markers.  The colors used were C01, C03, and C05.  It's a coincidence that this thank you card is actually going to someone who owns a boy bunny named Grayson-that's why the bunny is Gray.
The flower was created with the Sizzix Sunflower die.  The card base is Spellbinders and a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Punch.

Peaceful Spring Scene

Hi, all! Vladka here today!
Today is time to use dies from new Victorian release. If you are romantic soul, is this release perfect for you. I decided to create a peaceful spring scene. For the background, I've colored some paper with Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo Distress inks first and then also with white color to create this wooden look.
Elegant Frame and Bench are cut out from black cardstock and colored with black Enamel Accent. This gives some shine and more metallic look. Then I needed a little greenery, so I used Butterfly Flourish Vine and Flourish Vine dies and colored die cuts with green Distress Ink. Little blossoms are cut out with Bunny Stuck in Flower Pot die.
Now I just need the same real bench and good book in my hand to relax a little bit.
Have a great day!
