Hoppy Birthday Card

Hey Krafty Friends, Jen from Katahdin Krafts, back on the blog today with this fun "Hoppy Birthday" card.  I used the "Spring Frog w/ Mushroom" and "Pond w/ Cattails & Lily Pad" dies, from the Easter release to create this adorable frog pond scene.

With my cloud stencil and oxide inks, I created a whimsical sky for my background.  Next, I cut the dies out on Copic marker friendly cardstock, and colored all the pieces.   Finishing off my card, I stamped "Hoppy Birthday" for my sentiment.  I love how these dies work so well together!

I love that Spring is finally in the air!  Even way up here in northern Maine, we can finally see grass!  I can't wait to hear the peepers!  They are sweet music to my ears.  Comment below and share if you know what peepers are?!

Thanks for stopping in and I will see you soon with another fun inspiration.  Take care and happy krafting!

Sending You Sunshine

Hey Krafty Friends, Jen from Katahin Krafts, back with another CottageCutz YouTube video on the CottageCutz Channel.  I am featuring several dies from the latest release, "Flowers & More."

To create my card I worked with "Little Flowers", "Fence w/ Flower Garland", "Fence & Grass", "Arch Sun" and an oldie but goodie "Snowy Gnome Home."

I loved putting a new twist on the "Snowy Gnome Home", I made the snow...into moss!

You can see how I created this card over on the YouTube Channel!

While over on the channel, make sure you like and comment for a chance to win the "Little Flowers" die!

The winner of the "Lemonade Stand" die from my last video is Meghan Kennihan, the details for collecting your giveaway prize are over on YouTube!

Thanks for stopping in, and happy krafting!

Honeymoon!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Friends!

Hi it is Pam creating with you today! And I am continuing to share dies that are newly released. So today I am featuring two of the dies!

Design Steps:

 1.  Use an A2 black card base and cut a slightly smaller piece of pink card stock then glue to the front.  Cut a piece of DP dotted paper 3 7/8 x 2 and then layer onto black card stock.  Attach the blue ribbon and mount to the card front as shown.  Using the Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Eyelet Rectangel Set (3rd largest) cut out a white retangle and mount onto black card stock
 2.  Using the Cottage Cutz Honeymoon Car die cut out all of the pieces.  I used pink, silver, blue, black, white and sparkle card stock.  Assemble the car and them pop dot it to the card front as shown below

Roses!

Good Morning Cottage Cutz Friends!

It is Pam sharing with you today.  I am playing with the new release Rose with Wedding Ring die and giving you options to make your dies more versatile.  The card I made for you today can be a wedding card, birthday card, thinking of you and many others.  Who wouldn't love a beautiful bouquet on their card!

1.  Start with an A2 Vanilla card base cut a light pink piece of card stock to 5 1/4 x 4 and a piece of dark pink card stock 5 x 3 3/4
2.  Run the dark pink through an embossing folder and then glue the layers to the front of the card and set aside
 3.  Using a mint green card stock and the Cottage Cutz Roses with Wedding Ring die cut out 6 stems.  Then cut out 5 dark pink roses and 5 light pink roses.  Using your copic markers shade the flowers.  Using the largest of the Cottage Cutz Nested Stitched Eyelet Rectangle Set cut out a vanilla rectangle

 4.  Begin the arrangement in the center of the retangle and work from there.  I cut a lot of the leaves off and rearranged them in the bouquet.  Use a glue dot to attach your bow mount the rectangle to the dark pink on the front of your card
