Starburst Notecard

Happy Monday!

Kathy here with you and today I have a little notecard and matching envelope to show you using leftover pieces from my last project, the Happy Anniversary Easel Card.  I've used the Starburst FlowerGreenery and Elegant Envelope CottageCutz Dies.

This is a super quick and easy project to put together for a pretty notecard to go with a gift.  The envelope was made using black card stock that I added the large Starburst Flower to using Le Creme designer paper and then just added a rhinestone flower to the center.  The notecard was made using more of the designer paper for the card base and flower and then black for the Greenery.  I finished it off with three little rhinestones on the bottom corner.

Happy Anniversary Easel Card

Happy Thursday everyone!

Kathy with you today with an easel card I made using the Swans Die from the CottageCutz Wedding Release, along with the Starburst FlowerHappyAnniversaryFancy Lace Border and Greenery Dies.

It's hard to show just one picture of an easel card, so I have a bunch for you!  Here's a view from the front.

Here are views from the side.

Here's the inside.

And finally, a close up of the front.

To make my card, I used cream card stock to create a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" easel card.  (If you're not familiar with easel cards, there is a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers here that you can refer to as a guide.)  I added a black mat to part of the front that is embossed with a polka dot embossing folder and popped it on the base.  I cut the Fancy Lace Border Die twice, once with black and again with LeCreme Designer Paper and added them to the bottom of the mat.  The Swans Die was cut with the cream and added with pop dots. The 2 small flowers from the Starburst Flower Die with also cut with LeCreme DP and added the the Swan.  Two leaves were added to either side of the flowers cut from the Greenery Die using black card stock.

For the inside of the card, I cut the sentiments using black card stock and added them by running them through my Xyron Create-a-sticker Machine.  I then added a piece of black trim and one of the Greenery Dies cut using black card stock.

To finish my card, I added a bow made with Cream Seam Binding and a couple of black pearls.

These are the dies I used on my card.

Album for newborn baby

Hi, Vladka here. Today I want to show you some pages from the scrapbook album for the newborn baby. Pages on the photos are not add to the book yet, because it is easier to photograph them so. :) These main pages separate the album into parts, which show some main events which happen in the baby´s first year. After every page is a space for photos and some sheets are added that some short stories or important dates can be written down.
Here is the front page with cute Furry Teddy Bear and white bird on the branch:
I used another branch and second bird on the first inside page. I also put some grass there and between is a place for one photo, for example.
The next page which I want to present you is this one with Giraffe. I thought that this motive will be perfect symbol or metaphor for largeness.
Here is the last page which I will show you, but not the last one in the whole album. Little boy has 3 sisters and here is the place to add some sisters drawings. On this page I used following dies: Butterflies and Greenery.
It is always such fun to create something for babies or kids. I really enjoyed creating this!

Greetings my blogging friends and welcome to another addition of CottageCutz dies.  Today I am showcasing the Confectionery Bags in Large, Medium, and Small.
This is the Large Confectionery Bag.  The inside has the Scallop Insert Card/Tag.  The Doily Mini and Teapot Mini were used to decorate the bag along with the Greenery Die and some tiny Prima flowers that were distressed with Victorian Velvet ink.
This is the Confectionery Bag Medium.  I used matching dies to coordinate with the set.   The idea of using these in a mini album was the thought behind these sweet little bag creations.  I just love a tea theme too.  Really pretty for a Mother's Day Gift or Album.
Last but not least is the Confectionery Bag Small.  This is so cute and so tiny-it's just adorable.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to view my creations.  I really appreciate it.  Have a wonderful day doing things that make you happy!  These are the dies I used:

CottageCutz Shabby Teacup

Hello sweet friends!  Today I would like to share with you a card made with CottageCutz Dies.  For this card I used the Teacup w/Saucer & TeabagCelebration Tabs Set of 3, Library Pocket, and Greenery.
This is a close up of the Greenery die that was used with handmade roses made with the Spellbinders Rose Creations die.
A cuddlebug embossing folder was used to emboss the Library Pocket after it was cut out.  Brushed Corduroy distress ink was used to distress the edges.  A tag was cut to place inside the Library Pocket to hold the sentiment and the Butterfly from the Celebrations 3 Tabs was attached to the top of the tag.

This stick pin was made with some heart shaped lampwork beads I had in my stash.  I used some Want-2-Scrap pearl bling to accent the card.  Here are the dies used:

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate your comments.  Have a great weekend.  See you soon!
