Lace card with Foam Flowers

Hello to all !!!

This is Anita here!!!! I have not been around for some time and miss all the action here!!! I have been travelling and also due to some family emergencies, life has not been very normal to me . But now everything is coming back to place so here I am with another creation of mine. This time I tried working with foam flowers . And you can see the results.

This is my first attempt with Foamiran and its very easy to use with Dies from Cottage Cutz.
To make this card......

1. Cut a pattern paper to size 5.5 inches x 5.5 inches.
2. Mat it on white card stock that is slightly bigger than the pattern paper.
3. Adhere the card panel on a card base 6 x 6 inches.
4. Cut out the flowers from the flower die using a foam sheet.
5. Add colours using the Archival ink/pan pastel/distress inks/crayons.
6. Switch on the heat tool and apply heat on the flower die cut just for 3-4 seconds. You will see the flower curl up. Mold a little on a foam pad.
7. Cut out leaves from the Leafy foliage die and colour with Forest Moss Distress ink.
8. Cut out three oval die  cuts from Cross- stitched Oval die and lay on top of each other with glue. Stamp the sentiment on top.
9. Cut two die cuts from Victorian Frame die and adhere together. Adhere this on the oval.
10. Cut one Lace envelope die cut and adhere on the card front. Add the oval and the flowers and leaves as shown.

It's Anita here .Christmas preparations are in full swing everywhere. I am busy with making cards as there is long list of friends and relatives who long for my handmade cards.
My card today has a Christmas feel but its not a regular Christmas card.
I have added my favourite flowers in red and put them all in the beautiful envelope die cut as if its gift of flowers.
So do have a look.

Instructions

The finished card measures 7 inches by 5 inches.
Emboss the card front in an embossing folder.
Distress lightly with shabby shutters distress ink and Memento Angel Pink ink. Distress the edges with Abandoned Coral Distress ink.
Cut a die cut from Dual Stitched Rectangle Die and adhere on to the card front.
Cut a die cut from the Envelope die . Fold and stick in the middle of the rectangle die.
Add some hay fillers inside the envelope and add the flowers and leaves.
To make the flowers, Cut them using the 3D flower die and colour with Abandoned Coral Distress ink. Apply Crackle Medium on the flowers and apply glass glitter. Layer them when dry.
The leaves and green flower are cut from the pattern paper from my stash and then spray green mist on them . Use them when dry.
Arrange all the flowers and leaves as shown. Add a double layer of bow after colouring it with Abandoned Coral Distress ink.

in my video I will show you my interactive pages. Love doing these in mini's

on these 2 pages I left them pretty plain, but did add 2 spiders from the CottageCutz "Spiderweb Border" they are colored too with Onyx. I also colored my flower and added a cat face to it.

For my last page here I used the Beautiful CottageCutz "Lace Envelope" LOVE using this in all my mini's, its perfect for the back page and adding either a spot for writing, pictures or just tags.

CottageCutz Bloom

Good morning, and welcome to The Scrapping Cottage Blog!  Lorie here today, and boy, have I had a time getting today's post to you!   I've had some technical difficulties with my camera, and it's taken me a few days to get all of that sorted out and get one borrowed.   Turns out that instead of a faulty camera card, I have to send my eight-month old Cannon halfway across the country for warranty work.  :-(  Family to the rescue, though, as I have one to borrow until my camera makes the trek back home... HOPEFULLY in working order again!  I miss it already, and I'm grateful for one to borrow, but I do notice a huge difference in the quality of the photos, but at least it works, right?  ;-)

Here's what I came up with to share with you, and I managed to work in quite a variety of dies with this one, and I hope you like it!  Head over to The Scrapping Cottage and check all of the beautiful CottageCutz dies I've worked with today,  plus so many, many more!
It's a little difficult to see, but the flower pot, along with the flowers were shaded using Copic Markers on the colored card stock.  I normally use white card stock to cut and color, but I wanted to try different types and textures, and it worked pretty well.  You just have to experiment and try them out, and be careful, because the more porous the card stock, the more bleeding of the marker you will notice, but as long as your lightest color marker is VERY close to the card stock color, you can achieve a workable blend.

Here's a list of the CottageCutz dies that I used for this fresh and fun card...

All of the above dies are from the Spring Blossom Release at The Scrapping Cottage.  I added the floral panel behind the pot of flowers using the Lace Envelop die from the Tea Time Release.

I really love the versatility of this die, because not only can you use it for a gorgeous gift card envelope, but if you cut the pieces apart, you can use it in so many more creative ways.  As you can see from the photo, I used the front panel only as the backdrop for my pot of flowers.

Have a wonderful day, crafty friends!

Hello everyone Cheryl here with my post for today sharing the Last page of My Tea Pot Mini Album designed for

I also added some leaves trim, buttons, flowers, and swirls to my tag.

The blue ruched flower was handmade by ME :) I will be doing a class Ustream on June 14th LIVE :)  I also added some wrinkled ribbon, lace, and a vintage flower

♥♥♥NEW Tea Time Lace Envelope's & Video's♥♥♥

Hello everyone, Cheryl here to share the SUPER SWEET new Tea Time Release CottageCutz "Lace Envelope". Omgosh I LOVE this DARLING new die and you will too!!!

So for my 1st CottageCutz Lace Envelope I'm showing it as a invite, or a little note holder. I airbrushed it and added some flowers and ribbon to decorate it up. I left the front blank.
My next one is a Gift Card Holder, I thought this would be perfect for giving Gift Cards for the holidays and Birthdays, and so on :)

Now in the picture below, i used the 2 leaves on the side of the flap, next to my rose to tuck under and hold it closed, this can open and close :)

I didnt decorate the folded piece, but thought it would also be nice in a mini album with pictures and writing.

I just had to use the DARLING Lady Bug on my Gift Card holder. they are super sweet. I added Viva Pearl Pen and they look like pearls, but this was super fast and easy to do :)
